Job Description Summary:
Position Overview:
Support the Project Management Office for a digital transformation initiative within our R&D organization. This internship offers hands-on exposure to project management practices, digital tools, and transformation initiatives that enhance how R&D teams operate, collaborate, and deliver innovation.
The intern will work closely with project managers, digital transformation leads, and cross-functional R&D stakeholders to support planning, execution, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Support PMO activities for digital transformation projects within R&D
Assist in maintaining project plans, schedules, risk logs, and action trackers
Help collect, analyze, and report project performance metrics (e.g., timelines, milestones, KPIs)
Support preparation of project documentation, presentations, and status reports for leadership reviews
Assist with change management activities, including communication materials and training coordination
Education Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Project Management, or a related field, or have graduated from their degree program no earlier than December 2025.
Related Work Experience:
Strong interest in digital transformation, project management, and R&D environments
Basic understanding of project management concepts (e.g., scope, schedule, risks, milestones)
Functional Skills:
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar)
Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or other modern delivery methodologies
Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Compensation:
Monthly Salary (undergraduate): $4,506
Monthly Salary (graduate): $6,066
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Dates of Internship: May 18 - July 31, 2026
