Position Overview:

Are you a strategic and detail-oriented professional passionate about digital strategy and search engine optimization? Do you excel at leveraging data, technology, and AI to drive digital performance? Freddie Mac’s Seller Engagement Digital strategy, Insights and Sales Enablement team is seeking a Digital & SEO Associate II who will play a pivotal role in supporting digital strategy, enhancing our digital footprint, optimizing content for search engines, and providing actionable insights through analytics. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in SEO, technical web optimization, analytics, and digital strategy.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in digital optimization and SEO to enhance Freddie Mac’s web presence, drive strategic digital initiatives, and provide data-driven insights to align with broader business objectives. You will:

  • Support keyword research and web content optimization for SEO best practices.
  • Support initiatives to improve and maintain technical SEO elements, including structured data (schema), meta descriptions, site architecture, site speed, mobile optimization, broken links, and redirect chains.
  • Support strategies to optimize digital content for AI Search.
  • Collaborate with Go-To-Market team to maximize organic visibility and reach opportunities for GTM campaigns.
  • Analyze digital channels using website analytics (GA4) and behavioral analysis (heatmaps and session recordings) to translate quantitative information into relevant audience narratives.
  • Support campaign performance analysis to derive actionable insights and inform optimization strategies.
  • Support development and execution of digital marketing campaigns when needed, including email and web.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, analytics, or related roles (mortgage industry experience a plus).
  • Proven experience optimizing content for SEO, including keyword research and on-page optimization.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO (structured data, meta descriptions, site architecture, site speed, mobile optimization, broken links, and redirect chains).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of website analytics platforms (GA4 preferred) and behavioral analysis tools (heatmaps, session recordings).
  • Familiarity with AI tools, prompt engineering, and AI-powered search strategies.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to organize and prioritize multiple initiatives based on impact to broader business goals.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management tools and CRMs a plus (Wrike and Salesforce preferred).

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $65,000 - $97,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
