The Digital R&D Engagement Lead will work across Digital R&D to foster connection, collaboration, and engagement across our geographically dispersed team. This role will orchestrate all internal communications, events, and engagement initiatives to build a unified, informed, and motivated global workforce aligned with our mission to chase the miracles of science.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop internal communications & engagement strategy and messaging for the global Digital R&D team

  • Plan and execute global town halls including logistics, storytelling and impactful content, and follow-up (require a good understanding of Sanofi R&D and digital RD strategy)

  • Drive creation of compelling content to inform audiences and inspire them to act

  • Manage Viva Engage presence with content creation and community engagement

  • Build and coordinate catalyst network across regions for local engagement

  • Ensure understanding of digital R&D vision and strategy

  • Create and distribute team communications including announcements and updates

  • Align with R&D and Digital communications teams on external communications such as press releases and online content

  • Design engagement initiatives to strengthen team culture and connection

  • Lead preparation and analysis of Your Voice survey in collaboration with P&C partners and TRT with LEBI

  • Analyze Your Voice and pulse surveys to identify engagement trends and opportunities

  • Coordinate action planning sessions with teams to address survey feedback and drive improvements

  • Track and report engagement metrics including survey outcomes, action plan progress, and insights to leadership

  • Contribute to Change Management efforts in support of Take the Lead ambition

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or related roles

  • Proven track record managing communications for global, distributed teams

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English with ability to craft compelling messages for targeted audiences and communicate effectively at all levels, internally and externally

  • Experience with digital collaboration platforms (Viva Engage/Yammer or similar)

  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Proficiency with virtual event platforms (Teams, Zoom, Pigeonhole, etc.)

  • Direct experience working in a matrixed, multi-cultural, global organization

  • Ability to be present in Sanofi offices compliant with policies, currently 3 days per week.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% overall to Sanofi headquarters and major R&D centers globally.

  • Native or Advanced business Fluency in English  (Business fluency in French a plus)

  • Seasoned team player with outstanding communication skills, positive attitude, and confident demeanor

  • Successful at building a culture of performance and accountability with an orientation to measurable results

  • Position based in US (Morristown, Cambridge) or France

The salary range for this position is:

$105,000.00 - $175,000.00

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
