The opportunity
We are looking for an engaging person and driven person to contribute to the digital transformation of GPQSS by owning digital product requirements, managing end-to-end project execution, and coordinating developments and integrations across the broader Hitachi Energy digital ecosystem. The role ensures GPQSS digital solutions evolve cohesively with enterprise platforms, engineering tools, and service workflows.
How you’ll make an impact
- Product Ownership & Requirements Leadership: maintain and cascade product requirements, conducting ongoing reviews to ensure alignment with the GPQSS roadmap and stakeholder needs, translating diverse business and technical needs into actionable tasks, and prioritizing releases to meet digital transformation goals.
- Digital Project & Program Management: manage product requirements and project execution, coordinating across engineering, R&D, platforms, and service teams, and ensuring compliance with governance standards and effective communication throughout project delivery
- Digital transformation leadership: drive the roadmap for GPQSS-aligned digital solutions, including integrations with core engineering and design systems, PLM and data governance platforms, service and operations digital tools, AI- and analytics-driven modules
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: act as the central point of contact between engineering, digital teams, product owners, program managers, and business owner
- Agile Delivery & Team Enablement: Promote Agile approaches, iterative development, and continuous feedback loops, consistent with expectations for digital teams. Remove impediments, streamline workflows, and enable predictable execution across distributed teams. Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery ceremonies.
Your background
- Bachelor / Master Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience owning digital product development and managing complex digital software projects.
- Proven experience in managing projects end to end, including product-minded developments.
- Knowledge and understanding of system integrations, data flows, user experience (UX) and digital architecture fundamentals.
- Proven ability to collaborate across global teams (internal and consultants), engineering domains, and business functions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- You work in a structured way, applying relevant methods, procedures, and tools. You practice using and creating documentation, both internal (e.g., project descriptions, proposals) and external facing (e.g., user documentation).
- Excellent spoken and written communication abilities in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with engineering design tools, configurators, or PLM ecosystems.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Understanding of cybersecurity and quality governance within product development.
