What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Experience, the Digital Product Owner, Personalization will help support delivery of FIC’s personalization and experimentation strategy and roadmap with Adobe Target platform or similar personalization technologies to help evolve Fidelity’s digital experience to better serve our customers.

The individual will be responsible for advancing how we personalize, automate, and deliver exceptional digital-first experiences. As Product owner for personalization, you will shape the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of technologies and journeys that power customer-centric marketing/offers.

As a key member of the Digital Experience team, the Digital Product Owner, Personalization will strive to continuously improve our Martech capabilities by deploying solutions that enhance the customer experience and grow the business across all digital channels, ultimately driving up customer engagement and revenue. This role provides strategic leadership and operational support for offerings to and optimization of marketing campaigns and the marketing tech stack.

  • Own product roadmap, personalization and experimentation strategy, roadmap and delivery
  • Lead and manage Target backlog, sharing updates on backlog items, implementations, and roadmap refinements.
  • Set the overall strategy and vision for the personalization program within the organization, ensuring it aligns with core business objectives and the broader user experience (CX) strategy.
  • Create, manage, and prioritize the product backlog for Adobe Target or similar personalization technologies activities (A/B testing, MVT, Experience Targeting, Automated Personalization, Recommendations). This involves breaking down large initiatives
  • Enable real-time customer segmentation for Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Target. Develop audience activation strategies for personalized experiences across web, mobile, and email.
  • Maintaining a pipeline of innovation based on ongoing feedback, business needs and collaboration with all stakeholders for Adobe Target or similar personalization technologies
  • Champion personalization at scale—driving adoption of machine learning and AI capabilities that create tailored, outcome-driven experiences for customers.
  • Lead product success by managing risk, tracking product success metrics and effective cross team collaboration
  • Setting and tracking product success metrics and being accountable for how and when product enhancements are released into production as Product Owner

What We’re Looking For

  • Completed University Degree (bachelor’s degree) in Marketing, Business, Arts, Math, IT/Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing, computer science, digital analytics, or digital customer experience (DCX).
  • 2+ years working as a product owner, digital analytics, personalization lead
  • 3+ years in large scale personalization and experimentation programs
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP etc.
  • Knowledge of Adobe analytics, Target or similar personalization technologies or Customer Journey Analytics Experience
  • Strong understanding of mutual fund and ETF investment industry
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is required

The Expertise You Bring

  • Deep expertise within experimentation and personalization as a product owner
  • Knowledge of experience design, including website usability, A/B testing, content presentation and mapping, and digital best practices
  • Experience in digital Marketing, customer experience. Deep expertise in digital user experience and web development
  • Experience defining and executing against program requirements
  • Demonstrated comfort with data integrations and documenting systems/processes (Salesforce, Snowflake, databases, etc.)
  • Exposure to data-driven personalization or recommendation systems
  • Experience/ basic knowledge of Decibel, Medallia, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce, Snowflake and Marketo is an asset
  • Awareness of risk, control, and compliance processes in regulated financial institutions
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Product strategy development driven by business goals, key metrics and outcomes Experience in user behavioral analytics tools and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral The ability to drive consensus amongst key stakeholders
  • Leadership and presentation skills to passionately articulate product vision throughout the organization.

  • Base Salary: A competitive annual range of $100,000 to $120,000, based on your experience and qualifications.
  • Performance Bonus: Eligible for a discretionary bonus that rewards your contributions and results.
