About the location:

Seaside glamour on the Egyptian riviera; with Egyptian underpinnings and a sleek waterfront setting, our resort-style Hotel embodies modern Alexandria and its unique cosmopolitan flare. On one side, the Mediterranean Sea glistens in the sun; on the other, a dynamic metropolis buzzes with life. This stunning resort-style hotel opened in June 2007 and has a combination of classic hotel design and modern and contemporary beach suites and villas. Our hotel is connected to a shopping mall, it has 154 rooms including 31 Suites, 30 Beach Suites and 6 Villas with private pools, a private beach, a sea water infinity beach pool and a heated indoor pool, Spa and Fitness Center, and 10 food and beverage venues including an open-air 350 seat beach restaurant.

Digital PR and Marketing Communication Executive

Four Seasons Alexandria is looking for a Digital PR and Marketing with a proven track record of creating impactful marketing and PR creative content. This role has the opportunity to elevate the visual presence and storytelling of the hotel and its business - F&B outlets, Rooms, Weddings and Events, Spa, our People and more, through the development and execution of multi-channel creative assets. What will you do:

Standard Duties

  • To provide a friendly and professional service that always exceeds guests’ expectations.
  • To ensure you read the hotel's employee handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • To undertake other duties and responsibilities which, while outside the normal routine, are within the overall scope of the position.
  • To report for duty punctually wearing professional attire. To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to the hotel and department personal appearance standards.

CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA

· Come up with content ideas to highlight various services and products

· Prepare the content calendar for the main hotel channels (Facebook, Instagram, X)

· Reporting and Reviewing Social Media platforms monthly

· Monitor all engagement activity across all social media accounts

· Thorough understanding of the social media environment and its evolving shape

· Awareness of the latest tools, platforms and best practices

MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS

· Prepare monthly summary of press coverage for internal distribution and/or PR reports

· Coordinate professional video and photography shoots as needed

· Update content on the property website, mobile app, press room and image library, partner websites

· Assist PRD to ensure that all hotel promotions, advertising, and collateral are in keeping with Four Seasons standards and brand image and reflect the highest level of professionalism in content and presentation

· Be a brand ambassador of Four Seasons at all times, both in and out of the hotel and on personal social media accounts

· Assists with Media Site Inspections and Press Trips while ensuring itineraries are managed via each department and hosted media is welcomed and assisted while on-property.

· Responsible for supporting arranging amenities for visiting journalists, including planning, tracking, assembling, and distribution.

· Ensures house charge slips and reservations are provided and made in a timely fashion.

ONLINE REPUTATION

· Primary monitoring for online reputation management reviews.

· Responds personally to reviews as per the Hotel policy

What will you bring:

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar capacity In addition to an adequate experience within the role to understand graphic design, photography and photoshoots.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • The Video and Photo editing skills are of a strong advantage
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • A strong eye for visual composition
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
