About the role

Want to lead a team of creatives that bring high-quality digital content to life?

This is your chance to influence how thousands of team members grow in their roles and build their careers. You’ll sit at the heart of our Talent & Capability function, leading a team of creative and technical media specialists who create video, audio, animation, graphics and live studio productions. It’s rewarding, fast-paced work with an opportunity to innovate and build capability.

What’s involved

  • Lead a local and interstate team responsible for end-to-end digital media and studio production, turning briefs into engaging and impactful content.
  • Prioritise resources to ensure the scheduling, production and delivery of digital media content aligns with business requirements.
  • Coach and develop your team through clear goals, regular feedback, recognition, and meaningful development plans.
  • Uphold and evolve visual design and technical standards and shape creative direction.
  • Adapt production approaches to balance innovation, resourcing, and stakeholder requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement through observing industry and social trends and using feedback and data to improve content and production workflows.

Who we’re looking for

You’re a calm, capable leader who can juggle multiple priorities without compromising on quality. You enjoy the craft of media production, while improving ways of working, and helping set a clear vision for the team. You stay focused on the end user, operate strategically, and bring a test‑and‑learn mindset that encourages innovation and decision‑making.

Above all, you lead with integrity and respect, collaborate naturally, and empower your team with clear expectations and the confidence to own their outcomes.

You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years in digital media and/or studio production and 2+ years leading teams
  • Strong production capability across video, audio, animation, graphics and studio-based delivery
  • Experience building and maintaining visual communication and brand standards, with great attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience with professional AV gear (cameras, lighting, audio desks, vision switches, live production environments)
  • Confidence planning and delivering live studio productions and supporting on-screen talent
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (and related production tools) on both MacOS and Windows operating systems
  • Strong stakeholder management, planning, prioritisation and project delivery skills
  • A practical problem-solver who can troubleshoot workflows, hardware and software
  • Solid working knowledge of media accessibility standards
  • Efficient with Microsoft 365 and comfortable using insights/feedback to improve outcomes

You’ll work hands‑on with a well‑equipped studio and production setup, supporting digital, live and offsite productions, including:

  • Studio & live production:
Digital audio mixing desks (Behringer, Zoom), Tricaster vision switchers (multi M/E workflows, multiple mixed outputs, graphics overlays), Canon and Birddog PTZ cameras, NDI video workflows, Nanlite lighting.
  • Video & capture:
Canon cinema cameras (C200, R8 filming in C‑Log 3), Insta360 Pro 2 and associated workflows, DJI drones, and DJI gimbals.
  • Technical environment:
Basic networking understanding, along with Windows and MacOS familiarity.
  • Offsite production:
PA systems ranging from all‑in‑one units to fully cabled event setups.

You’ll be part of a workplace where you’ll feel like you belong.
