Digital Marketing Strategist, Manager

Boston, Massachusetts Full time

We are seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing Strategist, Manager to translate our digital transformation strategy into scalable execution. This role is part strategist, part program manager, and part marketing technologist. You’ll partner closely with the Director of Digital Marketing Strategy to operationalize targeted, personalized, data‑driven marketing across channels — turning plans into repeatable, measurable, well‑run digital programs. You will drive high‑quality project management, cross‑functional coordination, and execution excellence across personalization, automation, and multi‑channel engagement campaigns.

Why This Role Matters: This role is critical to scaling our digital marketing transformation. You will turn personalization strategy into real, measurable customer engagement programs — enabling the marketing organization to operate with greater precision, efficiency, and impact.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy & Personalization Execution

  • Translate personalization and engagement strategies into actionable multi‑channel programs — including audience journeys, nurture flows, and trigger‑based campaigns across email, web, and digital channels

  • Support yearly strategic, test‑and‑learn, and A/B testing roadmaps to drive continual optimization and improve personalization precision

2. Project & Program Management

  • Lead as the cross-functional program manager for digital execution — aligning collaborators, requirements, timelines, and workflows across marketing, creative, UX, Technology, data, and compliance

  • Use structured project management methods to define timelines, scope, track progress, manage risk, and ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery — while implementing workflows and tools that streamline requests, prioritization, resource planning, reporting, and overall marketing operations governance

3. MarTech & Data Activation

  • Partner with MarTech SMEs (Adobe CDP, Marketo, Target, Analytics) to guide requirements and support segments, automations, journeys, tagging, and dashboards

  • Ensure proper tracking, data integrity, and platform integration (CDP, Marketo, AEM, Salesforce) to enable accurate personalization and seamless end‑to‑end activation

  • Track results and KPIs across engagement, activation, conversion, and operational efficiency — delivering weekly, monthly, and campaign‑level insights in executive‑ready formats to support business cases.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5–7+ years in digital marketing, marketing operations, or lifecycle/personalization execution

  • Strong project/program management skills with experience leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives across creative/UX, Technology, Distribution, Operations, and Sales

  • Proficiency with workflow and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, SmartSheet) and agile methodologies; hands‑on experience with Adobe Marketo, CDP, or analytics/AI platforms is a bonus

  • Ability to translate strategy into execution — building structured plans, requirements, and timelines from high‑level direction

  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional partnership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working in a constantly evolving, transforming organization

  • Highly organized, thorough, and proactive

  • Data‑driven approach with a focus on optimization and operational excellence
