Digital Marketing Manager

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Digital Marketing Manager’s primary responsibility is to execute effective digital marketing strategies to promote the resort's offerings and enhance its’ online presence. The role will work closely with the marketing team, resort management, and external agencies to develop impactful online campaigns, orchestrate social channel’s campaigns, drive website traffic, and increase overall brand awareness with a focus on revenue.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Website Management: Manage the daily operations of riolasvegas.com. You’ll collaborate with the internal marketing team and the Director of Digital Marketing to deliver a user-centric experience that improves retention and increased conversion rates

  • Social Media Oversight: Alongside the Director of Digital Marketing, lead the comprehensive social media strategy for Rio Hotel and guest engagement across all primary channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X) through innovative content and targeted growth tactics.

  • Content Creation and Management: Create engaging and relevant content and distribute the assets to internal and external partners for use in digital channels, including social media posts, blog articles, and website updates. Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience

  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize various digital marketing analytics tools to measure the performance of marketing efforts. Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for future improvements.

  • Paid Advertising: Assist in managing paid media campaigns, including prospecting, retargeting, search, and metasearch advertising campaigns. Help develop and monitor budgets, keywords, and digital ad performance

  • Collaborative Initiatives: Work closely with internal teams, such as food & beverage, sales, casino, CRM, revenue management, entertainment, and hotel operations, to align digital marketing efforts with all business goals.

  • Stay Updated on Trends: Keep abreast of digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to suggest innovative strategies and tactics.

  • Reputation Management: Monitor online reviews and distribute, delegate and/or respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback on various platforms, including review sites and social media.

  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with a hotel, resort or casino.

  • Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings.

  • Must be comfortable with interacting and continual communications with senior management level positions.

  • Ability to write effective letters, memos, presentation decks, and articles for publication.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex of documents, such as digital reporting, financial reports, and legal documents.

  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from employees at all levels, guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • At least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED

  • BA in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.

  • Prior gaming/hospitality experience

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.

  • Must regularly lift and/move up to 25 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
