About the Role
We’re looking for an SEO Intern who is eager to learn and support our organic growth efforts. This role is ideal for someone starting out in SEO and digital marketing and curious about how search is evolving with AI.
You’ll primarily work on SEO fundamentals while also getting exposure to Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), understanding how brands show up in AI-driven platforms like ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and other generative search tools. You’ll learn by doing it, with guidance from experienced marketers and real-world data.
What You’ll Do
SEO Support
- Assist with keyword research and tracking performance using tools like Ahrefs and Google Search Console
- Help optimize blogs, product pages, and landing pages based on search intent and SEO best practices
- Support improvements to meta titles, descriptions, internal linking, and on-page SEO
- Monitor basic SEO metrics such as impressions, clicks, and rankings using GA4 and GSC
- Maintain keyword lists, help remove duplicates, and tag keywords by intent (TOFU / MOFU / BOFU)
GEO & LLM Optimization (Learning Focus)
- Track how the brand appears in AI tools like ChatGPT and other generative search platforms
- Assist in optimizing content for AI-generated answers, FAQs, snippets, and structured formats
- Analyze example prompts where the brand appears—or should appear—in AI responses
- Observe and track competitor visibility in AI-driven search results
Support & Reporting
- Help prepare weekly and monthly SEO & GEO reports
- Support competitive research, backlink tracking, and industry listings
- Maintain documentation, trackers, and shared sheets
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in SEO, digital marketing, or AI-powered search
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts (through coursework, certifications, or self-learning)
- Familiarity with Google Search Console, GA4, or Ahrefs (hands-on or academic experience is fine)
- Awareness of ChatGPT and AI-based search tools
- Comfortable working with Google Sheets or Excel
- Curious mindset with good analytical and communication skills
