Job Description Summary

A creative and detail-oriented content creator and Digital Marketing Intern to support the marketing team, with a core focus on creating engaging promotional material across all platforms and channels. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn how brands communicate online and wants firsthand experience in digital campaigns, content creation, and brand promotion.


 

Job Description

Major Accountabilities:

  • Create promotional content for print & digital channels for various brands across the portfolio.

  • Ensure all promotional materials follow brand guidelines (tone, style, and visual identity).

  • Adapt content to different delivery methods.

  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns.

  • Help schedule and publish promotional content across available channels.

  • Behave ethically, comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to Novartis values and behaviors.

  • Assist in using the BeSure system and upload promotional material for approvals.

  • Be comfortable with using the various digital tools that are available, as well as supporting the team in rolling out selected digital initiatives (applications, webcasts etc) under close supervision. 

  • Close collaboration with Brand Managers to create content aligned to strategy.

  • Assist with any other initiatives that may arise from time to time.

 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Promotional content created to drive promotion both digital and hard copy.

  • Successful digital marketing campaigns supported or initiated

  • Compliance, behave ethically, comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to Novartis values and behaviors.

  • Growth in Sales & Market share by therapeutic area due to expanded digital activities.

 

Minimum Requirements:

Work Experience:

  • University degree in digital marketing or equivalent

  • Exposure to listed platforms and tools such as Canva, Shaman, Adobe, WhatsApp for business, Kaltura etc. would be beneficial.

 

Skills:

  • Scientific acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to adapt, organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a matrix-environment as part of a team. 
    •  

  • An understanding of internal/external ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry an advantage.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Strong personal integrity, teamwork abilities, and customer focus are necessary.

  • Project management skills and high drive to execute & deliver timeously
    •  

  • Basic understanding of digital marketing tools and graphic design.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross functionally.

  • Creativity and interest in digital trends and consumer behavior.
