As a Digital Launch Lead, within our Digital Team you will serve as the Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for the digital success of strategic product launches at Sanofi in North America. In this pivotal role, you will bridge business strategy and technical execution, leading the development and implementation of digital launch strategies that drive exceptional experiences for patients, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders.

 

This high-visibility position offers the opportunity to directly influence how Sanofi's life-changing therapies reach patients through innovative digital solutions. You will partner with and advise senior leadership across the organization, orchestrate cross-functional initiatives, and drive critical strategic decisions that shape our digital future. As we continue to chase the miracles of science, your strategic leadership will ensure our digital capabilities accelerate and amplify the impact of our breakthrough therapies in the US market. This role is pivotal as it touches on the "Take the Lead" priorities, specifically "Take the Lead in the US," and addresses two of the four Digital priorities: "New Launches" and "Win in the US." You will advise and influence the highest level of seniority of US stakeholders while shaping digital investment approaches for strategic product launches.

Main Responsibilities: 

Strategic Leadership & Accountability 

  • Serve as Single Point of Accountability for on-time delivery of all digital launch components in the North America region. 

  • Develop and own the integrated digital launch strategy for assigned brand(s), ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and commercial objectives 

  • Translate US or Canada market requirements into comprehensive digital strategies, making strategic recommendations on platform selection and capability prioritization 

  • Track and manage digital resources for assigned brand(s) 

  • Lead strategic planning sessions with brand teams to define digital vision, objectives, and success metrics 

  • Provide strategic counsel to brand leadership on digital opportunities, risks, and competitive landscape 

Governance & Executive Engagement 

  • Serve as standing member and digital advisor to Steering Committees, Launch Readiness Reviews, and Launch Performance Reviews 

  • Present strategic recommendations and secure executive approval for digital initiatives 

  • Orchestrate coordination across Architecture, Customer Experience (CX), Business Partners (US/Global), and Digital Product Lines both in the DGBU team and in the accelerator 

  • Deliver executive-level reporting with strategic insights, performance analytics, and forward-looking recommendations 

  • Drive digital agenda items and decision-making in core team meetings as digital subject matter expert 

  • Influence brand strategy through participation in brand leadership meetings and strategic planning sessions 

Strategic Planning & Innovation 

  • Conduct comprehensive gap analysis of digital brand plans against digital strategy, market trends, and competitive benchmarks 

  • Define and champion the digital roadmap, establishing sequencing and prioritization of digital initiatives 

  • Identify and evaluate emerging digital opportunities (AI, personalization, omnichannel optimization) that enhance launch effectiveness and competitive positioning 

  • Drive resolution of strategic gaps by engaging appropriate stakeholders and facilitating decision-making at senior levels 

  • Serve as trusted advisor to marketers, guiding them toward optimal technical solutions and innovative approaches 

  • Contribute to digital launch excellence by capturing learnings and establishing best practices 

Integration & Complex Problem-Solving 

  • Architect end-to-end integration across technical topics, workstreams, and digital platforms to ensure seamless execution.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolving complex interdependencies that could impact launch success.

  • Drive alignment and consensus across cross-functional teams, technical partners, and business stakeholders without direct authority 

  • Navigate and resolve conflicts between competing priorities and technical limitations 

  • Orchestrate value creation by identifying and activating synergies between technical capabilities, business needs, and patient outcomes 

  • Support organizational readiness for adoption of new digital capabilities 

 

About You:

  • Master's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred 

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry with demonstrated strategic impact 

  • Proven track record managing complex digital product launches in pharma with measurable business impact 

  • Deep strategic understanding of US pharmaceutical market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment

  • Extensive experience with digital platforms used in commercial pharma (CRM, patient support, omnichannel, analytics) 

  • Strong program/project management expertise with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent, high-stakes initiatives 

  • Significant experience working with cross-functional teams including IT, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic decisions without direct authority 

  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, including executive-level strategic storytelling 

  • Budget tracking experience 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with digital platforms (Marketing Suite, iCare+, OneCRM, MedIS, Diamond, Veeva Align, etc.) 

  • Background in specialty pharmaceutical launches (Immunology, Neurology, Oncology, Rare Diseases) with demonstrated strategic impact 

  • Experience with advanced analytics, AI/ML applications, or digital innovation in healthcare 

  • PMP, Agile, or similar project management certifications 

  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives 

  • Strategic consulting experience in pharma/life sciences 

  • Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and GxP requirements in digital health

The salary range for this position is:

$187.500,00 - $270.833,33
