Where would you fit? 

This is a newly created role within x15’s Growth team, designed to accelerate how our ventures scale through the bank’s internal and external channels.  

While embedded in x15, you’ll operate as part of a cross-x15 and CommBank squad, working alongside talented product owners, UX designers, marketing, data and product leaders to shape compelling, personalised experiences that deliver meaningful value to customers. 

You’ll also be connected into the broader Digital Journey Optimisation Manager (DJOM) community — contributing to bank-wide cadences, capability forums, and best practice across CommBank’s digital ecosystem. 

 

The Role 

As a Digital Journey Optimisation Manager, you’ll play a key role connecting CommBank customers with differentiated digital products and services, while enabling our ventures to benefit from fast-tracked, cost-effective growth through CommBank channels. 

You’ll be part of a squad managing the day-to-day build, delivery and conversion of venture initiatives delivered to customers via commbank.com.au, CommBank App and NetBank, while also helping to improve and optimise our ventures’ own customer journeys.  

Using your customer-focussed, analytics and digital expertise, you will help to identify breakpoints in digital customer experiences and drive solutions to increase conversions and improve the customer experience.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own acquisition and retention outcomes of digital assets across Commbank.com.au, NetBank and the CommBank app 

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of key digital experiences, including targeted personalised messaging, and A/B experimentation – from ideation to execution and measurement, using Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Platform, Audience Manager, and Adobe Analytics. 

  • Develop and execute on a data-driven tactical roadmap for our ventures alongside key stakeholders 

  • Identify and drive key strategic initiatives impacting digital acquisition and/or retention experiences for x15 and its ventures 

  • Contribute to x15 and Bank cadences (including DJOM forums and working groups) to foster collaboration, promote the adoption of shared learnings, and ensure alignment with best practice digital experiences 

 

We are interested to hear from people with: 

  • A clear customer focus with proven channel and stakeholder management experience 

  • Exceptional communication, influencing and negotiating skills 

  • Strong analytical and financial acumen – Adobe Analytics highly regarded or similar application used to extract useful insights from digital data 

  • Proven ability to identify new business opportunities and deliver and own a strategy from inception through to execution. 

  • Hands-on experience with conversion optimisation platforms (Adobe Platform including Target, Experience Manager, Audience Manager &/or Journey Optimizer ideal) 

  • Passionate about SEO/website/owned channel optimisation, digital marketing and staying up to date with the latest industry trends
