This is a hybrid role offering remote work opportunity with some travel required for occasional in-person team meetings. This is a remote, work from home position. Remote work is currently only approved for residents living in the following states:  AL, AK, AR, AZ, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, KS, KY, ME, MI, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV, WY.

Pay Range

$30.15 - $45.25

The Digital Content Specialist is responsible for writing high-quality content that tells the health system’s story across a wide range of multimedia channels such as multiple care-delivery websites, health and wellness blogs, marketing campaigns, and consumer-first digital products. Works closely and collaboratively with content team leaders to ensure a consistent voice and disciplined message are delivered in a creative, compelling and customizable way for all channels. Partners closely with the division’s Digital Experience team, serving as a digital content expert.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Serve as digital content expert while partnering closely with the Digital Experience team
  • Research, conduct interviews, write and edit content that’s optimized for organic and AI search (SEO & AEO) and user experience for organization’s 30+ websites, email marketing and other digital platforms including blog posts
  • Implement the enterprise-wide health and wellness content strategy
  • Create and edit content to support messaging maps, organization-wide content calendar and initiatives across the division
  • Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, tone of voice, and optimized for relevant communications channels
  • Maintain understanding of content channels and standards across the division, including brand, marketing, digital, social, media and public affairs
  • Assist with large website migrations, including auditing and optimizing existing content and creating new content.
  • Edit webpages in content management system

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

  • None Required.


Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations or related field.


Experience Required:

  • Typically requires 2 years of experience in Public Affairs, Public Relations, Communications. Experience producing high-quality content for wide range of platforms and channels in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
