Job Description

What is the Opportunity?

This role is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining cohesive brand elements across all field-facing training resources. The position combines brand strategy, content creation, and digital learning management to support enterprise-wide professional development initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining consistent brand elements across multiple platforms (intranet sites, presentation templates, video content, infographics, banners); creating and managing content across RBC Connect, DSnet, and CounselNet platforms; designing promotional materials and campaigns for training programs and resources; designing and developing interactive online courses and microlearning modules; maintaining and updating learning materials to reflect regulatory and product changes; managing learning management system (LMS) administration and quality assurance; and extracting and consolidating training metrics into customized reports and dashboards.

What will you do?

Brand & Design

  • Resource and Team Branding: Develop and maintain brand elements for intranet sites, PowerPoint presentation templates, video branding (i.e. thumbnails, intros and outros, vBrick channel configuration), infographics, team and program banners, Webex posts.
  • Video Branding: Design and implement video brand elements to include with all field-facing video content. Work with teams to develop consistent vBrick training videos and channels for programs, national calls and recordings.
  • Intranet: Support design, enhancements and content creation for all intranet pages. Partner with WMC stakeholders on training content edits and migration.

Content Creation:

  • Toolkit Series: Develop the Toolkit Series to support ongoing professional development and increase engagement with training resources. Maintain the Professional Development page and series branding on RBC Connect and maintain the standardized article template for ongoing use.
  • Video content creation: Lead filming, planning and editing of all department video initiatives. Partner with Content Specialists on any application training videos.
  • Digital Product Management (Enterprise): In partnership with the Lead, On Demand and Digital Learning Architect manage the VBrick channels, create branding and thumbnails, track metrics.
  • RBC Connect: Build and customize training group and project pages using tiles, buttons and graphic elements, create and post training documents and blog posts, schedule and design announcement sliders and banners to promote training material, create and post infographics, rebuild and update professional development articles.

Reporting & Tracking

  • Import and track program/national call attendance in Salesforce.
  • Export, prepare and send all branch training reports and email templates/identify areas of opportunity.
  • Create monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad hoc report/training presentations.

eLearning Design & Delivery

  • Design and develop new eLearning courses and microlearning assets for PH&N - supporting Lead, Online Learning Architect.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and key stakeholders to translate complex topics into clear, engaging eLearning experiences and ensure existing courses remain current and effective.
  • Leverage a range of interactive and modern formats (i.e. video, scenario-based learning, practice activities and evaluations).

Must-Have:

  • Design and content creation experience with proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools)
  • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and coordinating across cross-functional teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to develop compelling promotional and educational content
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with financial services, wealth management, or banking environments
  • Video production or multimedia branding experience
  • Ability to establish and maintain brand consistency across multiple channels and stakeholder groups
  • Background in instructional design or adult learning principles
  • Experience with digital platforms and content management systems (CMS), learning management systems (LMS), or intranet tools
  • Project management capabilities and proficiency with project tracking tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, SharePoint)

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00
