PATH began its work in India in the late 1990s, bringing together governments, communities, private-sector companies, and experienced public health practitioners to address some of the country’s most pressing health issues. Today, PATH’s India projects focus on TB/HIV, vaccines, nutrition, health innovation, and more. PATH’s India country program engages with various stakeholders and target groups, for which creating compelling and engaging visual content is essential.
Objective of the Assignment
As part of a cross-cutting Communications team, the Digital Communications Analyst will be responsible for producing end-to-end content, design, and digital solutions to support PATH’s strategic priorities and communication initiatives. The ideal candidate will continually strive to enhance PATH’s graphic design, content and digital outputs in India/South Asia, leveraging their knowledge, skills, and capabilities in visual communication to bring PATH’s key messages to life.
Scope of Work
Help create engaging digital assets and campaigns for PATH’s various stakeholders, audiences, and channels, to achieve key communication objectives by focusing on (but not limited to) achievement of the following results:
Managing PATH’s India profiles and engaging with diverse audiences across key social media sites
Generating, editing, and designing, clear, compelling digital content that upholds our brand identity and advances our objectives, including infographics
Identifying, collating relevant, interesting, and useful content and designs from across PATH’s projects, publications and updates, and the broader web to share with target audiences
Developing, implementing, and managing a social media calendar, including a schedule for use of evergreen content
Researching and maintaining lists of relevant influencers, stakeholders, funders, and high-impact hashtags
Collaborating with other PATH teams to develop social media campaigns ahead of key dates, conferences, events, and opportunities
Tracking and assessing social media metrics, insights, and best practices to help us continuously improve our reach and engagement with key audiences
Supporting the build out of relevant newsletters for our target audiences
Lead on and support with ideation, planning, curation and execution of events (webinars, workshops, conferences etc)
Produce consistent design identity and branded experiences across multi-channel communications.
Produce compelling design assets with a purpose, which educate, inspire and encourage action.
Ensure that PATH’s brand guidelines are maintained across all branded collateral.
Any other work as assigned and needed.
Required Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in a similar role. Freshers ready to learn can also apply. Experience in working with INGOs will be an asset.
A Post-graduate degree in English/Journalism/Mass Communication/Digital Marketing.
You are tech savvy and can manage Facebook Pages, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn with ease and understand how to best utilize social media management tools like Sprout. Experience with photo editing, video editing, and/or graphic design software is preferred. Knowledge of HTML and/or CSS is a plus.
You have your hand on the pulse of digital audiences and understand what will resonate with them. You are able to sort through masses of information and determine what content is relevant, important, interesting and effective.
You are a versatile writer who strongly believes in the influencing power of stories. You are adept at writing succinct, clear, compelling prose. You have strong writing and editing skills in English. Similar skills in Hindi or any other regional Indian language will be a bonus.
You have a good design aesthetic for the development of on brand digital graphics that are fresh, creative and compelling.
You work quickly and efficiently and can churn out excellent work product in short timeframes, within deadlines.
You are a self-starter, adaptable and able to work as part of a cross cutting and multi-cultural team.
You have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure of tight deadlines.
You are open to travel to project sites across India for extended periods if required.
Location: Delhi
