An exciting opportunity to join the Digital Delivery team working alongside Product Owners and Developers to deliver enhancements to Quilter's digital applications. Experience of working in an agile/scrum environment is essential.
The Digital Business Systems Analysts at Quilter play a key role in the digital agile delivery team.
Working alongside product owners and developers to deliver enhancements to Quilter's Digital applications, they are responsible for analysing business processes and systems, translating requirements into solutions, and acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that enable Quilter’s strategy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting business process and systems analyses, needs assessments, and cost/benefits analyses of business systems and applications to create project proposals that align technology solutions with business objectives and the Quilter Technology Strategy and roadmaps.
- Formulating and defining systems scope and objectives, based on end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications and industry requirements.
- Identifying, capturing and developing requirements (functional and non-functional) providing detailed documentation and business rules to support the requirements throughout the project life cycle and change control, prioritising requirements based on high-value achievable requirements.
- Driving continuous improvement of business products and services by translating requirements into improved design and service provisioning.
- Leading workshops including IT, business stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers to evaluate and translate end-user needs into practical and pragmatic solutions.
- Operating as a link between technical personnel and the appropriate end-user department to understand the business implications of the technical solutions on the current and future business environment.
- Managing system incidents working with the project team and 3rd parties where applicable to ensure resolution.
- Working closely with the Product Owner or end-user to select or define appropriate scenarios to test and determine whether system changes meet project specifications.
- Supporting coordination with testers and end users to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Supporting creation, review and delivery of end-user documentation and prepares communication material on system enhancements.
- Monitors production performance enhancements and system integrity with end-users.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need to possess:
- Demonstrable experience of working in a financial service environment, throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience of working in a digital delivery team on development projects such as mobile applications, secure portals and/or public websites.
- Strong structured business systems analysis, data modelling and design skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement capability with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail.
- Ability to design and document business processes.
- Ability and experience assisting with planning activities.
- Experience testing functionality and new releases.
- Experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment.
- External accreditation in Business Analysis/Systems Analysis is desirable but not a necessity
