Key skills and prior experience

  • Proven experience in the Insurance sector is essential, with a preference for candidates with a background in General Insurance.
  • Strong expertise in Guidewire is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in leading and managing business and technical workshops.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating Epic and User Story backlogs.
  • Experience in Data Field Mapping.
  • Experience in developing Integration Specifications.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence is mandatory.
  • Experience with JIRA Rovo is advantageous.

What type of work will I be doing?

  • Collaborating closely with clients to capture, analyse, and refine business and user requirements.
  • Creating personas and mapping customer journeys to ensure user-centric solutions.
  • Translating UI/UX designs into detailed requirements and user stories.
  • Acting as the customer advocate throughout the project lifecycle to ensure solutions meet user needs.
  • Supporting architects, designers, and developers in defining technical solutions.
  • Validating that both functional and non-functional requirements are correctly implemented.
  • Assisting with project estimation, resource planning, and delivery scheduling.
  • Contributing to best practice development by identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Researching emerging digital trends, technologies, and industry best practices to inform solution design.
