As part of Group Payments, we focus on innovation in areas such as digital assets, tokenised deposits, stablecoins, programmable payments, and digital identity. We are looking to recruit a Risk and Control manager who will be responsible for leading and supporting the risk, controls, and compliance readiness for digital finance initiatives. This is an outstanding opportunity to join our Group Payments team and help ensure we deliver digital finance solutions in a safe and secure way.

  • Design and execute high-quality risk assessments, compliance testing and gap analysis to monitor adherence to regulatory obligations and internal policies.

  • Prepare governance papers and reporting for internal and external audiences.

  • Monitor emerging risks and regulatory developments in the digital assets space, translating them into actionable control enhancements.

  • Support assurance activities including audits, attestations, and control testing, ensuring timely remediation of issues.

  • Champion automation and data-driven approaches to control monitoring and reporting.

What you’ll need…

  • Deep understanding of digital asset products and services, including tokenisation, stablecoins, custody, CBDCs, and Distributed Ledger technologies

  • Ability to assess wider risks and controls around digital assets, including technology, supplier, fraud, AML, and automated controls.

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing digital assets.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.

  • Experience with control tooling, automation, and data analytics for risk and control monitoring.

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and continuous improvement mindset.
