Who we are looking for 

A Digital Asset Operations Senior Manager who has working experience of ideally both traditional and digital assets operations coupled with large institutional experience. The Digital Asset Operations team is responsible forassisting in the design and/or execution of the operational model for digital asset capabilities within our Global Delivery teams as part of delivering the enterprise strategy for State Street Digital. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Assistant Vice President seeking new challenges, leveraging your existing talents and skills to build the future digital infrastructure of financial markets from the ground up. 

You will report directly to the Vice President of Digital Asset Operations and collaborate with our dedicated Digital teams in Product Development, IT, Business, Governance & Controls, Risk and Compliance plus our State Street Global Delivery teams to effectively service our Institutional client base.  

This unique role requires knowledge of traditional investment services business operations – particularly in multiple areas including custody, payments, trading, securities servicing, client onboarding, compliance and process documentation - as well as a broad understanding of next generation technologies, including distributed ledger technology - DLT, blockchain, digital custody, cryptocurrencies, digital wallet technology, and tokenization. Previous engagement in business transformation and change management preferred.

What you will be responsible for 

As Digital Asset Operations Senior Manager, you will:

  • Contribute to the delivery of our enterprise strategy for the organization as a thought partner by challenging the design and implementation of related self-custody processes, procedures and other documentation required for smooth operations in production 

  • Foster alignment between value streams, manage interdependencies, and deliver value at an organizational level  

  • Establish risk control procedures to ensure risk excellence across all capabilities  

  • Partner with testing teams to develop, test, and enhance capability development in UAT and Production  

  • Manage risks, resources, and stakeholder communications  

  • Provide regular communication and reporting updates to ensure full transparency and clarity of workstream delivery to digital asset operations leadership teams 

  • Involvement in people management activities

  • Ability to review and vet a new operating model for viability and alignment to our existing infrastructure 

  • Experience executing on a project as a critical stakeholder, including excellent time management and multi-tasking skills 

  • Ability to work effectively with peers across globally distributed teams to achieve common goals 

  • Familiarity with either of the following functional roles: operations, business process modeling, risk control, AML/KYC and financial crimes, target risk assessments, BUAT and/or client service for traditional and digital products 

  • Ability to learn and understand data governance principles, data quality management concepts, assess fit-for-purpose data, and assist in compiling data lineage documentation 

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline 

  • Ability to excel when faced with the unknown and challenged to develop new ways 

  • Excellent communication and escalation ability 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and external stakeholders 

  • Hands-on experience with digital assets and wallets, distributed ledger technology, tokenization is preferred   

  • Experience in people management

Work requirements:

  • Hybrid role model: at least 3 days from the office are required

Minimum Salary:

zł182 004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
