Investor Services Operations comprises of multiple operations groups supporting our Custody (Global and Direct), Funds and Execution Services businesses. This new and exciting space for our clients where our business is looking to lead the way.

In this role, you’re expected to:


The Assistant Vice President leads a settlement operations team responsible for the accurate, timely, and secure processing of digital asset transactions. This role combines operational oversight, people leadership, and subject matter expertise in blockchain-based settlement processes. The AVP ensures risks and controls are effectively managed, documentation is complete and audit-ready, and process issues are resolved promptly with preventive measures implemented. The role also supports senior management in delivering strategic initiatives and operational enhancements.

Key Responsibilities
•    Oversee the end-to-end digital asset settlements process, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all transactions.
•    Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for digital asset settlements, providing operational guidance and resolving complex transaction issues.
•    Lead and mentor settlement analysts, ensuring adherence to internal procedures, control frameworks, and quality standards.
•    Manage escalations, settlement failures, and process disruptions, implementing root cause analysis and preventive action plans.
•    Maintain comprehensive process documentation, ensuring all records meet audit and compliance requirements.
•    Monitor process metrics and operational dashboards to identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
•    Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including technology, product, risk, and compliance teams, to address operational challenges and system enhancements.
•    Support senior management in executing strategic initiatives, change programs, and special projects.
•    Ensure the team remains up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and evolving blockchain settlement practices.
•    Foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within the team.
•    This team operates within a 24/7 shift model to ensure continuous operational coverage.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure: ​

•   Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
•    Minimum 7-10 years of experience in securities settlements, with hands-on experience in digital asset settlements or strong product knowledge of digital assets
•    Proven track record in leading operational teams and managing high-volume, high-value transactions
•    Deep understanding of blockchain transaction flows, settlement finality, and custody infrastructure preferred
•    Proficiency in reconciliation tools, blockchain explorers, and settlement tracking systems preferred
•    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for operational reporting and analysis
•    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
•    Ability to manage operational risk and maintain control discipline
•    Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
•    Adaptability to fast-evolving digital asset technologies and processes

•    Flexibility regarding working hours and working days (including week-ends) - Shift Timing: US Shift - 6:30 PM IST - 3:30 AM IST
