Digital Analytics Capability – Adobe Data Engineer

At Bankwest, we’re serious about making banking simpler and smarter for our customers. We’re looking for a Digital Analytics Capability – Adobe Data Engineer to help us design, build and support the analytical foundations that power exceptional digital experiences.
Do work that matters
As part of the Customer Strategy, Insights & Optimisation team, you’ll play a key role in implementing and maintaining Adobe Experience Cloud applications across the Bankwest app, website and online banking. You’ll help shape new digital analytics capabilities that lift customer satisfaction, deepen engagement and enable smarter decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering mindset, deep technical expertise in Adobe Experience Cloud/Adobe Marketing Cloud, and a passion for data-driven digital experiences.
What you’ll do
· Implement and support Adobe Experience Cloud solutions aligned to our MarTech strategy.
· Partner with marketing, web and app squads to translate measurement requirements into scalable data activation solutions, including data layers, properties and rules via Adobe Data Collection (Adobe Launch).
· Apply strong analytical skills to understand customer behaviour and support customer journey analysis.
· Contribute to the evolution of our MarTech strategy and digital measurement frameworks.
· Champion the adoption of digital analytics tools by providing training, guidance and support to project teams.
What you’ll bring
· Hands-on experience implementing and customising Adobe Experience Platform/Adobe Marketing Cloud, particularly Adobe Data Collection (Adobe Launch) for web and mobile.
· Technical proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, DOM manipulation and Adobe App SDK.
· Experience working with APIs for data collection and reporting.
· Relevant Adobe certifications Adobe Certified Expert or Adobe Analytics Developer are highly regarded.
· Familiarity with Adobe Target, Audience Manager and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
· A structured, organised approach to problem-solving and prioritisation.
· Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders and external partners.
· Confidence and influence when engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
