Part Time Dietitian - Renal Dialysis Unit

We are seeking a qualified Dietitian with either Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent. We require you to have previous experience of working in direct patient care within a health setting, with excellent communication skills in order to gain the trust of our patients and their relatives. Having an awareness of cultural and religious variations in diet would be advantageous.

What does the role involve?

As part of the multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing confidential nutritional information, education and advice to patients receiving haemodialysis.  You will also act as a source of dietetic expertise in the management of renal patients to healthcare professionals, dieticians and others.  Additionally, you will provide training and education on the dietetic assessment and treatment of renal patients to other members of the team.

This is a part time role of 17.5 hours per week. Current days are working various shifts Monday to Saturday between 6.30am to 6.00pm.
