Job Summary: This position is located in the Headquarters Fort Lee (HQ). Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). Sales, Marketing and eCommerce Group. The incumbent serves as a subject expert and liaison for all Department of War (DoW), Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) and Industry health and wellness initiatives Read the entire announcement before starting the application process.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Knowledge of advanced nutrition science and public health expertise to guide agency-wide wellness programs and initiatives. Interprets peer-reviewed research and emerging dietetic trends to develop evidence-based nutrition content and policy recommendations. Analyzes complex public health programs and coordinates with Department of War stakeholders to align wellness strategies. Manages large-scale nutrition and health programs by setting goals, monitoring outcomes, and improving processes. Designs public health marketing, menu planning, and nutrition education materials that support healthy food choices in commissaries. Maintains status as a Registered Dietitian, meeting all professional credentialing and continuing education requirements. - Time-in-grade applies to the promotion of current and former federal employees who hold or have held a permanent GS position in either the competitive or excepted service in the previous 52 weeks, including current employees applying under VEOA.
