Dietitian - Clinical - WCMC Nutrition Services - Per Diem - 8 Hour - Days

Job Description:

The Clinical Dietitian, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, assesses, plans, implements, documents, and evaluates the education and specialized nutrition needs of hospitalized patients using established standards of care. The RD in this classification works in the inpatient adult and/or pediatric setting to provide nutrition care for patients with a wide range of clinical problems.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Food Science, Nutrition Services, or related field - Required

• Professional Internship Dietetic Internship - Required

• Master's Degree Nutrition, Healthcare Administration, or related field - Preferred

Experience:

• 1 year Healthcare - Acute Care Preferred

Certifications/Licensures:

• RD Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration - Required or

• RD-Eligible - Registered Dietitian Credential - Commission on Dietetic Registration - passes R.D. within 80 days of registration

• BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required
