FTE: 1.0_, Shift: Day_, Schedule: 8am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday and weekend rotation_

Position Summary

The Dietetic Technician is a collaborative opportunity on our Nutrition Services team. In this role, you will ensure MultiCare patients, families and visitors have the best possible nutritional health care experiences.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide nutritional care to patients and assure care plans meet set dietary goals
  • You will provide outstanding customer service in support of our organizational values while serving a diverse population
  • You will provide assessments, counseling and effective responses to changing patient needs
  • You will apply your enthusiastic, food-centric attitude and will possess the ability to collaborate to provide a quality product and exceptional experience for our customers

Requirements

  • Registered Dietetic Technician or registration eligible within 120 days of hire date OR
  • Associates Degree in dietetics or food and nutrition which meets the educational standards established by the ADA OR
  • Certified Dietary Manager certification or eligible within 120 days of hire OR
  • BA or BS in related field with Director's/Clinical Nutrition Manager's approval of transcripts
  • Current Washington State Food Handler’s Card
  • Two (2) years of experience in patient nutritional care preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $20.88 - $30.05 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
