Work Arrangement:
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Markham Elevation Centre (MEC) or Oshawa Elevation Centre (OEC) three times per week, at minimum.
Relocation:
This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
The Role
The Vehicle Mechatronic Embedded Controls (VMEC) Body Controls Secure Vehicle Access ART (Agile Release Train) has an opening for a Diagnostic System Architect (DSA). The DSA plays a critical role in defining and executing the diagnostic strategy across the ART, ensuring alignment with GM’s enterprise diagnostic architecture and compliance with internal and external standards.
We are seeking creative, highly motivated, agile thinkers with passion and expertise in Controls and Software, and great attention to detail. The selected candidate will lead the development and governance of diagnostic artifacts, ensuring robust, serviceable, and compliant vehicle systems. In the role of DSA, you will be collaborating with several other areas of engineering and the business (Engineering Stakeholders, Customers and the Product Management Team) to breakdown technical solutions into workable and deliverable chunks.
