The Position

The role:

A field-based resource for healthcare professionals  (HCPs) and internal stakeholders involved in the patient diagnosis pathway.  In accordance with local laws, regulations, company code and  SOPs, this role  is aimed to

  • Provide Medical and scientific information/education

  • Establish and develop long-term, peer-to-peer relationships with internal and external stakeholders 

  • Generate Disease area diagnostic pathway data

  • Implement the disease area diagnostic solution strategy

Responsibilities & Key activities 

You will be responsible for:

  • Interacting with HCPs to understand their views, preferences, and interests, and also identified where Roche can partner with them to meet their needs, where aligned with our disease area strategies

  • Providing medical expertise to customers and customer insights to internal brand teams

  • Responding to unsolicited, product-related questions from HCPs

  • Serving as the scientific bridge and point of contact with key stakeholders involved in evidence generation

  • Ensuring Medical Information has additional responsibilities as described in the affiliate SOPs, and ways of delivering value to HCPs

Key Activities

  • Scientific communication: Facilitating Informed decision for patients by contextualizing and communicating scientific data to Key Healthcare professionals by implementing publications initiatives, continuing medical education activities, medical information, …

  • Strategic partnership: Leveraging external expertise to bridge clinical development and medical practice.  Collaborate with external experts to help Roche maximize the ability to develop valuable patient pathway diagnostic solutions, for their advice, insight and expertise to further the knowledge about Roche projects in diagnostic pathway by implementing Ad boards, Evidence generation Steering Committee (SC), publication committees, Clinical trial Investigator, Studies data presentation, … 

  • Evidence / Data  Generation: Conduct studies and programs that address relevant scientific questions to increase our understanding of the patient diagnostic pathway in order to determine how best to use testing in clinical practice to optimize patient benefit.

Who you are: 

Qualifications & Experiences :

  • University Degree in  Medicine / Pharmacy or other relevant Pharmaceutical or Biological Disciplines. 

  • MD preferred

  • Experience in Medical Diagnosis / Lab Diagnosis

Competencies

  • Fluent in French

  • Basic knowledge of English (written & spoken)  with a clear commitment to improving your language skills 

  • Eager to learn, self-managed & directed, bold, and able to prioritize

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams

  • Ability to understand and leverage digital means and tools

  • Ability to deeply listen, question & understand, and communicate effectively

  • Project management

  • Data management for the purpose of understanding Real World Data/Evidence
