We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Imaging Assistant to play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Bupa Breast and Prostate pathways as well as supporting our Breast Clinics. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing service, working at the heart of a multidisciplinary team to improve patient pathways and outcomes. You will work across both clinical and administrative functions whilst the role develops, providing hands-on support to patients and collaborating closely with specialist nursing and imaging teams in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

This is a full- role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
You work as an integral part of the imaging team, providing a high standard of patient-centred care, meeting the needs of patients, consultants and colleagues.
You work within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care, maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
You conduct yourself professionally within the HCA/ Imaging Assistants standard framework, understanding the standards in accordance with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
You demonstrate competence in the role of Imaging Assistant within the scope of your working areas.
You work alongside multi-disciplinary team to provide safe and high-quality care provision for patients.
You comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
Care Certificate.
NVQ Level 1 and/or be willing to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
