The Opportunity
The candidate will support the ABMS ICAM Development Team by providing CI/CD and automation development expertise. This role is responsible for defining, implementing, and enforcing build and deployment pipelines while ensuring DevSecOps best practices are applied across the ICAM ecosystem. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and leadership to execute technical direction, resolve complex issues, and drive informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
•Design, implement, and enforce CI/CD build and deployment pipelines
•Provide CI/CD, automation, and DevSecOps technical expertise to the ABMS ICAM Development Team
•Participate in internal and external technical meetings to support decision points and program objectives
•Coordinate between internal teams and third-party partners to execute ICAM technical direction
•Provide technical guidance to team members and external partners on DevSecOps practices, CI/CD, and automation
•Troubleshoot complex system, pipeline, and automation issues and provide root-cause analysis as required
•Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership
Qualifications – Required
•Active Top Secret clearance
•12+ years overall Information Technology experience
7+ years software development experience (Shell, Python, and/or Java)
•Very strong Linux / UNIX skills
•Significant experience designing, building, and integrating CI/CD pipelines
•Experience with Linux containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
•Experience operating within virtualized environments
•Strong understanding of IPv4 networking concepts
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable information for leadership
Qualifications – Desired
•7+ years software development experience (Shell, Python, and/or Java)
•5+ years of experience working as a DevSecOps engineer supporting CI/CD and automation
•Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture and design concepts (AWS preferred)
•Familiarity with DoD and IC Information Security requirements
•Knowledge of Active Directory concepts and integration
•Solid understanding of cryptographic concepts, including:
•Experience with relational databases
•Familiarity with Identity Management (IdM) and Access Management (AM) concepts
•Ability to program in multiple languages (Shell, Python, Java preferred)
•Willingness to travel up to 25% as required

The proposed salary range for this position is:
