We are looking for a DevOps Specialist, PDM and AWS to strengthen KONE’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team.

The DevOps Specialist is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring end-to-end stability and continuity of PDM related digital products and services. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations. In this role you design, implement and maintain the tools, processes and infrastructure needed to support continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), automation, monitoring, and reliable application deployments. Your goal is to improve developer productivity, system reliability, and overall delivery speed. You will work directly with AWS-based environments and tooling, applying best practices to  performance, security, and operational quality. This is a practical, execution focused role where you lead by doing - diving into technical issues, driving improvements and changes, and ensuring high service levels.

What You Will Do

  • Build and manage AWS infrastructure using IaC tools

  • Maintain AWS cloud environments

  • Ensure system scalability, resilience and cost efficiency

  • Develop scripts and tools for deployment, monitoring and maintenance

  • Manage configuration using tools like Ansible

  • Build and maintain container images (AWS ECS)

  • Ensure high availability and performance of the PDM systems

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues

  • Work closely with developers, product and platform teams as well as IT operations

  • Promote DevOps best practices, automation, and continuous improvement

  • If required, participate in major incidents calls

What We’re Looking For

Technical skills

  • Strong hands-on competence with AWS cloud technologies

  • Good understanding of PLM/PDM platforms, PLM business processes and product data flows

  • Deep practical knowledge of DevOps, Agile, ITIL methodologies and how they apply to digital product operations.

  • Experience in incident, request, problem, and root-cause analysis, with the ability to lead taskforces to secure production stability.

  • Ability to work with operational documentation, CMDB/service design, and technical product architecture to ensure data accuracy and service continuity.

Preferred experience

  • Practical experience in cloud-based AWS environments building, supporting and developing scalable, global services.

  • Background working with or supporting PLM/PDM systems, product structures, and engineering data processes.

  • Experience working in cross-functional DevOps teams and with global supplier ecosystems.

Soft skills

  • Excellent judgment, able to translate complex technical information into clear decisions even under uncertainty.

  • Effective collaborator, capable of building trust and working across engineering, product, and supplier teams.

  • Structured and detail-oriented working style, with proactive communication and documentation habits.

  • Strong change management capability with persistence and drive to push improvements through.

  • Teamcentric mindset, willing to go beyond core responsibilities to support colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the team rather than working in isolation.

  • Strong customer perspective, ensuring operational decisions prioritize service continuity and user value.

Education and certifications

  • University degree in engineering / computer science

  • Certifications in AWS

  • Training or certification in DevOps frameworks, ITIL4, Agile leadership, or related operational practices are considered valuable.

  • Foundational understanding of product development and PLM-related processes supporting product lifecycle.
