About the Role

KONE’s Data Center & Cloud Platforms team is a core enabler of the company’s digital transformation. As a GitHub Enterprise Specialist, you will evolve KONE’s GitHub ecosystem—ensuring secure, compliant, and scalable developer workflows while accelerating productivity through AI‑powered engineering capabilities.

This role blends GitHub Enterprise administration, DevOps and Platform Engineering, and emerging AI/agentic automation to shape the future of software delivery across KONE.

What You Will Do

Current Responsibilities

GitHub Enterprise Administration

  • Manage and maintain GitHub Enterprise organizations, accounts, teams, and permissions.

  • Configure and govern organizational settings, policies, repository structures, branching strategies and protection rules.

  • Enforce security controls including SSO, MFA, audit logging, permission and access guardrails, and identity governance.

DevOps & CI/CD Enablement

  • Configure, standardize, and support GitHub Actions‑based CI/CD pipelines.

  • Develop reusable GitHub Actions workflows, composite actions, and pipeline templates.

  • Operate and optimize GitHub Actions runners (hosted and self-hosted).

  • Integrate GitHub with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and secrets management solutions (e.g., Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager).

AI‑Enhanced Developer Productivity

  • Enable and administer GitHub Copilot and emerging agentic AI development tools.

  • Provide onboarding, training, and best practices for developers adopting AI-assisted workflows.

  • Support infrastructure-as-code (IaC) patterns and templates for GitHub platform automation.

Future Roadmap Responsibilities

AI‑Driven DevOps & Automation

  • Implement predictive pipeline capabilities that anticipate build failures, optimize deployment timing, and surface recommended remediations.

  • Develop self-healing CI/CD pipelines leveraging autonomous AI agents for rollback, mitigation, and recovery.

  • Build templates for next-generation AI-powered CI/CD workflows.

AI Governance, Security & Compliance

  • Use AI-based tools to enforce compliance policies, detect repository anomalies, and identify security risks.

  • Deploy observability, monitoring, and analytics for AI-assisted workflows and autonomous agents.

Agentic Systems & Workflow Orchestration

  • Contribute to orchestration of multi-agent systems supporting backlog refinement, automated documentation, and release planning.

  • Evolve KONE’s GitHub landscape to support scalable, autonomous engineering practices.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in GitHub Enterprise Administration & Governance in a large-scale environment.

  • Strong hands-on experience of DevOps and Platform Engineering: CI/CD workflows, reusable pipeline templates, operating GitHub Actions runners and Infrastructure-as-Code.

  • Strong scripting and automation experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

  • Experience integrating GitHub with AWS and/or Azure

  • Solid knowledge on Security & Compliance. Applying DevSecOps practices: scanning, policies, guardrails and secrets management. Maintaining compliance and audit readiness in large-scale environments.

  • Experience with Developer Enablement & Communication: Ability to support onboarding, training, and best practices for large developer communities. Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., GitHub Copilot).

  • Understanding of agentic AI concepts such as autonomous agents and orchestration.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AI-driven automation and predictive DevOps tooling.

  • Knowledge and exposure to predictive CI/CD pipelines, anomaly detection, and AI automation patterns

  • Understanding of cross-cloud caching, artifact performance tuning, and large-scale workflow optimization.

  • Experience with platform-level observability, monitoring dashboards, and workflow analytics

  • Knowledge of building resilient, self‑healing pipelines
