The Opportunity
The DevOps Software Engineer role is to simplify the deployment and management of the Cloud Services infrastructure through the automation, standardisation, integration, reporting, compliance checking and remediation of infrastructure under management.
The DevOps Software Engineer will focus on:
1. The design, development, testing and implementation of micro-services and applications, including database management.
2. The design, development, testing and implementation of automation workflows to provision, change and de-provision infrastructure elements.
3. Report, manage, and where possible automate, the remediation of non-compliance between infrastructure under management and billing systems.
4. Evaluate and then champion new technology to support underlying business needs and initiatives.
5. The integration, management and support of software and infrastructure management systems leveraging open-source frameworks, latest tech, experimentation, learning
The DevOps Software Engineer will build automation, ETL and APIs to support business and customer outcomes. This includes the design, development and integration of AI-enabled workflows, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, prompt engineering frameworks and AI-assisted operational tooling.
