We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and build the foundation of our infrastructure and developer platform.

Your Impact

You will lay the groundwork for scalable, resilient infrastructure that enables our products to grow rapidly and reliably. Your work will directly accelerate development velocity and unlock new product capabilities.

Build the DevOps foundation for multiple core products from the ground up
Enable faster, more reliable deployments across engineering teams
Establish best practices that scale with the company
Improve system resilience, observability, and security
Help position Modulate as a premier AI platform company

What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Build and manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu)
  • Develop tooling to automate repetitive engineering workflows
  • Own monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems
  • Integrate security best practices into infrastructure and deployment processes

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency with Terraform or OpenTofu
  • Experience with Docker and containerized environments
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, PagerDuty)
  • Experience building systems from the ground up and making architectural decisions

Pay Transparency

Modulate believes in transparency as a cornerstone of equity and trust. Compensation for this role is based on seniority, skills, and experience.

Salary: $140,000 to $170,000
Equity: Offered
