DevOps Engineer II – Native Apps Environment

This role is offered as a hybrid in Brno, Czech Republic. We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Czech Republic or who have sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic. 

  

What you'll do at Jamf:

You will join a distributed team of experienced engineers located in the US and Europe, collaborating globally with development teams responsible for Jamf’s Native Apps – primarily iOS and macOS, but also Android and Windows. 

In this role, you’ll focus on designing, automating, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and build infrastructure for all native clients, with a strong emphasis on Apple platforms and support for other client platforms as needed. 

 

What you can expect to do in this role: 

  • Design, implement, and maintain build and deployment pipelines for iOS, macOS, Android, and Windows applications. 
  • Manage and optimize macOS build infrastructure using Anka, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency for Apple-based pipelines. 
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts, integrations, and internal tooling to improve build speed, consistency, and developer experience across platforms. 
  • Integrate and evolve workflows across Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Xcode Cloud. 
  • Collaborate with mobile and desktop app development teams to identify needs, streamline CI/CD processes, and resolve build or deployment issues. 
  • Implement and uphold security best practices in build and deployment systems. 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for pipelines, infrastructure, and automation. 
  • Partner with Cloud, Security, and Platform teams to align infrastructure and CI/CD practices across Jamf.

What we are looking for: 

We seek a skilled DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation, CI/CD, and improving developer productivity — especially within the Apple ecosystem, but with curiosity and flexibility to support Android and Windows build systems as well. 

Minimum qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, Build Engineer, or CI/CD-focused role. 
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Xcode Cloud, CircleCI). 
  • Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy). 

Preferred qualifications: 

  • Experience with macOS build environments and Apple Developer tools (Xcode, certificates, provisioning profiles). 
  • Familiarity with Android build tooling (Gradle, Fastlane) and/or Windows build pipelines (MSBuild, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps). 
  • Practical experience with Anka or other macOS virtualization solutions. 
  • Experience with Git and configuration-as-code workflows. 
  • Comfortable working in a distributed Agile environment. 
  • Familiarity with Terraform. 
  • Knowledge of automated testing and release pipelines for mobile and desktop apps. 
  • Understanding of code signingApp Store Connect, and Google Play Console processes. 
  • Experience monitoring build infrastructure performance and stability.
