Job Description:
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure, tools, and processes that enable fast, secure, and reliable software delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline development workflows, improve system performance, and drive innovation across our platform. This is a high-impact position where your expertise will directly influence our ability to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure solutions that power our business. Responsibilities: • Infrastructure Design & Automation – Architect, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. • CI/CD Optimization – Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and more reliable releases. • Containerization & Orchestration – Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability. • Operational Excellence – Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance processes to improve system stability, performance, and reliability. • Security & Compliance – Implement security best practices, maintain compliance with industry standards, and collaborate with security teams to strengthen system defenses. • Problem Solving & Incident Response – Diagnose and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments, including participation in on-call rotations. • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Engage with engineering, product, and operations teams to align infrastructure initiatives with business objectives. • Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to enhance developer experience, system performance, and overall platform efficiency. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience. • 3+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role. • Strong experience with AWS (preferred) or Azure cloud services. • In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture best practices and microservices design principles.• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration best practices. • Proficient in Python, Bash, YAML. • Hands-on experience with Terraform or Pulumi and Helm for Infrastructure as Code. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy or similar. • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus). • Knowledge of modern networking concepts and cybersecurity best practices. • Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of problems from definition through execution. • Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable technical plans. • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. Nice to Have: • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or Airflow. • Familiarity with SSO tools like Okta. • Experience with SOC 2 & GDPR compliance standards and regulations. • Experience with data technologies (e.g., RDS Postgres, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
