Role Summary
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in designing, building, and operating cloud-based platforms—primarily on AWS. The role involves infrastructure automation, cloud operations, security best practices, and supporting highly available, scalable enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in production cloud environments, collaborating with application, SRE, and security teams, and automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Key Responsibilities
• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Support containerised workloads using Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Git-based workflows, Jenkins/Harness/GitHub Actions)
• Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, least privilege, secrets management)
• Monitor cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch, logging, alerting, and observability tools
• Handle production support, incident response, and root cause analysis
• Collaborate with application, platform, and SRE teams for cloud onboarding and optimisation
• Optimise cloud cost, reliability, scalability, and performance
• Automate routine operational tasks using scripting (Shell, Python)

Required Skills
Cloud & Infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, ALB/NLB, Route 53)
• Experience with Terraform (modules, state management, remote backends)
• Understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, security groups, NACLs)
DevOps & Automation
• CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, Harness, GitHub Actions or similar)
• Containerisation using Docker
• Kubernetes experience (deployments, services, ingress, troubleshooting)
• Configuration management using Ansible (Linux/Windows is a plus)
OS & Scripting
• Strong experience with Linux (RHEL preferred)
• Bash/Shell scripting; Python knowledge is a plus
Security & Operations
• IAM and role-based access controls
• Secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, or equivalents)
• Monitoring, logging, and incident handling in production environments
