• DevOps Engineer focused on Site Reliability, will be implementing strategic DevOps processes specifically around tooling, build, deployment automation, test automation, Monitoring implementation across the RCA domain as a whole.
• Primary goal of the team is to continue to evolve the deployment and management of these services to follow standard practices and ensure security and scalability through coding.

Your key responsibilities

• Infrastructure – Solution design of requirements working with domain architects, infrastructure teams, vendors and developers. Capacity and utilization management of current infrastructure underpinning the RCA Unit. Work closely with production management and release management to ensure that growth projections are adequately met with optimisation and cost efficiency.
• DevOps – Implementing uniform processes across the department, with high level of build & deployment automation and using bank’s standard tools. Understanding the current landscape, identifying gaps and leading the closure of these gaps .This requires close working relationships with the development teams, strong coordination between various groups required.
• Team working –Working collaboratively with vendor partners as well and DB permanent staff across geographies.
• Ensuring all SDLC and Release processes are followed and take proactive actions as and when necessary.
• Additional responsibility includes, automation testing through Selenium, Junit, Tosca, Cypress etc.
• Working experience on Test Automation Frameworks Page Object Model / Keyword driven/ Data driven / Hybrid.
• Knowledge and experience on Test Automation for multi-tier application
• Ensure enough test coverage for the releases exist and the gaps are filled

Your skills and experience

Experience / Expose

• 2-3 Year of experience in deploying and supporting web based applications.
• Should have strong experience in Microservices/API.
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Working with deployment and troubleshooting of Docker, GKE, Openshift and Cloud Run
•   Experience with cloud computing services (GCP, Azure, AWS) is a plus
   

Design and Architect automation process

• Automation Solution design of requirements working with domain architects, infrastructure teams, vendors and developers.
• Implementing uniform processes across the department, with high level of build & deployment automation and using bank’s standard tools.
• Understanding the current landscape, identifying gaps and leading the closure of these gaps.
• End-to-End CICD design and implementation for given or gathered requirements.
• Design a hassle free solution that covers best practices of devops (Integration, Delivery, Test, deployment, traceability and auditability).

Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment

• Extensive experience in environment / infrastructure management   and a track record of delivery in Information Technology (IT) projects
• Extensive Experience of Linux, UNIX, Oracle, build management tools, Big Data platforms and Microservice bases applications.
• Hands on scripting experience with shell, powershell, python, Maven, SQL.
• Hands on experience of operating with Windows servers.
• Hands on experience with build and deployment automation.
• Hands on experience with orchestration tools eg TeamCity, Jenkins, Udeploy.
• Ideally experienced with devops tools like Ansible/Puppet.
• Ideally experienced in working with Agile methodology

Automation Testing

• Additional responsibility includes, automation testing through Selenium, Protector, Junit, etc
• Working experience on Test Automation Frameworks Page Object Model / Keyword driven/ Data driven / Hybrid.
• Experience on handing Test Automation in Agile / DevOps way of working using BDD /ATDD with tools like Cucumber/SpecFlow/Jbehave /PyTestBDDK
• Knowledge and experience on Test Automation for multi-tier application
• Ensure enough test coverage for the releases exist and the gaps are filled
• Building selenium tests from ground up and writing JUnits as necessary

Tools and Technologies

• Programming Language Core Java, Spring Boot
• Test automation using JUnit, Mokito, Selenium, Cucumber, Protector
• Working experience on scripting language like Python, Shell Scripts, Power Shell
• Databases: Oracle, MySql, MsSql
• Server OS: RHEL, Linux, UNIX, Windows
• Good knowledge of SCM GIT, SVN, BitBucket
• Expected to build tools such as Maven (Build tool), Gradle
• Tools: JIRA, SONAR, VERCODE, TeamCity,Jenkins, uDeploy,  Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes , Prometheus , Grafana
• Practices to follow DevOPS, Agile, CI & CD

More About You

• Understanding of architecture and implementation of three tier web applications.
• Ideally a background in the Surveillance domain, trade or communication.
• Experience or knowledge of delivering projects in an Investment Banking environment.
• Used to working to tight deadlines and identifying problems at an early stage.
• Flexibility and willingness to work autonomously and self-motivated within set competencies in a team and fast paced environments.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of Program Management tools, standards and principles.
