This role plays a key part in building, operating, and continuously improving highly available, cloud‑native platforms that support Blue Planet software at scale. The position offers the opportunity to work across modern cloud environments, collaborate with global engineering teams, and directly enable reliable, zero‑downtime delivery for customers worldwide.

How you will make an impact:

• Design, automate, and operate Kubernetes infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms and deployment models
• Build, enhance, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines supporting large‑scale software delivery
• Deploy and operate Blue Planet applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud environments
• Administer, monitor, troubleshoot, and automate application platforms to ensure high availability and reliability
• Implement and support high‑availability (HA), geo‑redundant, and zero‑downtime upgrade solutions
• Perform day‑to‑day operational activities while supporting product and project development teams
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to improve platform resilience, scalability, and developer experience

The must haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Cloud Operations or DevOps roles
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including configuration, automation, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency with Linux operating system configuration, automation, and diagnostics
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as TeamCity or GitLab
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical documentation

Nice to haves:

• Experience supporting software‑as‑a‑service (SaaS) production environments
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible
• Exposure to monitoring and observability frameworks such as Prometheus or Nagios
• Understanding of networking and security concepts in cloud‑native environments
• Previous experience working directly with customers or external stakeholders
• Experience collaborating within globally distributed engineering teams
• Comfort participating in regular status and operational review calls.
