Development Project Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a Development Project Manager to join our Athletes Village Development Team. Reporting to the Senior Development Project Manager, in this role you will drive the safe, timely and cost‑efficient delivery of physical works across the project. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading delivery planning across design management, cost management, authority approvals, procurement, program development and construction delivery.

  • Managing consultants, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure outcomes align with the business plan and project objectives.

  • Supporting the development of accurate budgets, cashflows and delivery programs.

  • Ensuring compliance with Lendlease GMRs and leading a strong safety culture on site.

  • Managing contracts, tenders, variations and commercial processes.

  • Contributing to project strategy, documentation, risk identification and mitigation.

About you:

You will bring a commitment to safety and high-quality project outcomes. You will have a collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to your work with.  You will also have:

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering civil infrastructure, subdivision works, and/or building construction projects.

  • Proven capability managing budgets, programs, risks and consultant/contractor performance.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering or similar (desirable).

  • Experience with procurement, contract negotiation, tender management and commercial administration.

  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, council requirements and approval processes.
