The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods. Areas of Expertise:

Lead the engine build and strip activities in support of program validation requirements.

Key responsibilities:

Understanding of RT requirements for engine configuration, instrumentation requirements, special measurements during build, build instructions, build reports etc.

Trouble-shoot build issues that are preventing smooth progress, and be an active participant in the Andon process.

Drive for good quality build data that is reliable and allows the IPT to make validation decisions.

Support validation activities such as trial fits, tooling validations, AFS validation and verification, and production readiness requirements.

Ensure completeness of the substantiation and verification / validation activities and related documentation to meet substantiation plan requirements.

Support engine build requirements at OEM’s and production lines.

Participate in continuous improvement and strategic projects as and when required.

Provide Engine daily build plans for Development morning meeting.

Embed RT/Special requirements from Build Instructions into Ecates for flawless execution of the Engine/Rig build and to minimize delays.  This responsibility will require the candidate to have/acquire Catia skills.

On time issuance of build instructions to meet customer target dates and avoid delays/Andons.

Required Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with minimum of 2 years of experience or Technical Diploma with minimum 5 years of relevant assembly/test experience.

Adaptable, self-motivated, and have demonstrated abilities to work effectively under aggressive project timelines

A team player who works cohesively within a team environment.

Clear and precise communication skills both written and verbal.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 65,000 CAD - 107,800 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
