RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will join TDBOA, Manufacturing & MRO in Getafe to be the focal point for Solution Architect + Devops for TDBOA supporting MES applications such as SIPLA, Digital Bart Chart or PELICANO and he will be in charge of digital solution affecting Manufacturing and MRO areas, mainly focus in MAXIMO for Industrial Means and Metrology
- Integrates IT system components including hardware, software and services, in line with the Enterprise Architecture guidelines in strong collaboration with Technology Specialists.
- Collaborates with other Architects, systems analysts, and developers to deliver the highest quality solutions via cutting edge technologies.
- Secure the integration of solutions across applications, systems and platforms to achieve business objectives.
- Participates in all phases of the application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support.
- Performs / Supports the technical design of the application and infrastructure components of a new solution according to the defined functional design.
- End-to-end accountability for digital AIRPOWER app in conjunction with the Product Manager, securing the coordination of the different Digital Departments involved.
- Monitors and tracks system performance against negotiated service-level agreements (SLAs), securing the agreed support and including incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management.
- Ensures the provisioning of new software packages and upgrades.
- Responsible for the optimization, reliability, efficiency and availability of the Digital Solution, in accordance with best practices, rules and policies, in line with OLA/SLAs.
- Translates the business needs into Digital requirements and proactively identify opportunities for business transformation or improvement enabled by technology for both the short and long-term
- Contribute to chargeback definition model for their respective IT Products/Applications or Services
- Knowledge on Business processes for Air Power
- Assemble and edit source code repositories to develop a software stack for the product needs.
- Respects the standards and structure of the given solution and the environment.
- Develops design specifications and parameters that are in compliance with products’ architectural blueprints.
- Participates in all phases of product development lifecycle, from the analysis, design over test and integration to operation of products.
- Researches, evaluates, and develops new tools to improve product development efficiency.
- Deploys, test and/or integrates highly available, scalable, maintainable, monitored systems and services.
- May assist in development of product user manuals.
- Coordinates the functional and technical integration.
- Defines the test strategy, scripts, scenarios and monitors test execution.
- Determines how existing applications, legacy systems, databases, web interfaces and/or hardware logic, which may be currently operating on multiple platforms, work together to meet the new and emerging enterprise requirements.
SKILLS
- Educated in an Engineering degree or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in Digital Service and development
- Export Control Basics
- .NET solution knowledge
- Component Integration
- Solution Deployment
- Coding / development skills
- IT Architecture / Infrastructure Design knowledge
- ERP / SAP SP1 knowledge would be an asset
- Project Management experience is valuable
- High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network model
- Experience at Manufacturing / MRO, understanding main processes involved to produce platforms and components
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to propose new ideas
- Advance level in English, and native Spanish
