The role operates alongside the Head of Data Centre Development Advisory, acting as a trusted technical and commercial counterpart.

This role supports the delivery and growth of Cushman & Wakefield’s data centre development advisory services across APAC. Job Description

About the role:

Development & Technical Advisory Delivery

  • Lead and contribute to development feasibility studies for new and evolving data centre assets.

  • Provide technical and development-led input into option studies, risk assessments, and development strategies. Act as technical lead on selected advisory engagements, with autonomy appropriate to experience.

Support to Head of Technical Advisory

  • Take ownership of defined advisory workstreams to support day-to-day management of the business line.

  • Support coordination across geographies, disciplines, and project teams.

  • Represent the technical advisory function in internal and external discussions as required.

Quality, Consistency & Judgment

  • Maintain consistent technical standards across advisory deliverables.

  • Apply pragmatic, development-led judgment rather than purely theoretical analysis.

  • Review and challenge assumptions within reports, programmes, and risk narratives.

  • Support the development and refinement of internal templates, tools, and guidance.

  • Look for opportunities for continuous improvement of deliverable quality and opportunities to enhance client experience.

Business Growth & Market Support

  • Support business planning and service line development activities.

  • Contribute to bids, proposals, and client presentations where technical credibility is required.

  • Support client engagement and relationship development alongside senior leadership.

  • Provide input into market strategy and service offering evolution as the advisory function grows.

Collaboration & Team Contribution

  • Work collaboratively across the Data Centre Group and wider Cushman & Wakefield business.

  • Support mentoring and informal development of junior team members where appropriate.

  • Promote a pragmatic, collaborative, and delivery-focused advisory culture.

About You:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.

  • Proven experience in data centre, mission-critical, or other complex infrastructure environments.

  • Background may include consultancy, client-side roles, site selection, development advisory, or construction.

  • Experience working across multiple markets or regions within APAC is advantageous.

  • Strong understanding of data centre development processes and full asset lifecycles.

  • Demonstrated experience in feasibility studies, due diligence, and development advisory engagements.

  • Ability to operate effectively in early-stage, ambiguous, and evolving environments.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of commercial acumen with confidence in client-facing engagements.

  • Pragmatic, development-led approach to technical advisory.
