Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer (L3) with strong COBOL-based development skills to support banking projects, particularly in cards domain. The role will involve integration work between backend mainframe systems and frontend applications.
Experience:
6–9 years
Key Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience in Mainframe (z/OS environment)
- Mandatory skills: COBOL, JCL, CICS
- Experience working with VSAM and sequential datasets (no DB exposure required)
- Good understanding of SDLC and banking domain projects
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Cardlink / Vision Plus (cards systems)
- Exposure to Web Services and REST APIs
- Experience with MQ and system integration
Key Responsibilities:
