• Design, build, and support Dell Boomi integration solutions across enterprise systems and business domains.
• Develop integrations using Boomi Atoms, Molecules, and Atom Clouds, following scalable and fault‑tolerant patterns.
• Design and implement integrations using Boomi processes, connectors, profiles, and maps, favouring reuse and standardisation.
• Build API‑led integrations using REST and SOAP services, aligned to enterprise integration standards.
• Apply event‑driven and asynchronous integration patterns to improve resilience and performance.
• Implement secure integration designs including authentication, encryption, certificate management, and secure endpoint access.
• Support multi‑domain integration landscapes, enabling parallel integrations across business units without cross‑impact.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies.
• Contribute to controlled change, release, and deployment activities across environments.
• Apply Boomi best practice for exception management, logging, retries, and error handling.
• Collaborate with architects, platform teams, and application owners to translate business requirements into integration solutions.
• Contribute to integration documentation, operational readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and experience
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven hands‑on experience developing and supporting integrations on the Dell Boomi platform.
• Demonstrated experience designing scalable and maintainable integrations using processes, connectors, profiles, and maps.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns—synchronous, asynchronous, event‑driven, and batch processing.
• Experience building and consuming REST and SOAP APIs, including XML and JSON payload design.
• Practical experience with Atoms, Molecules, and Atom Clouds in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of integration security including certificates, authentication, encryption, and secure data exchange.
• Experience delivering integrations across multiple systems and business domains simultaneously.
• Strong capability designing fault‑tolerant integrations with robust error handling and retry strategies.
• Background integrating with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, ERP, CRM, data platforms, or legacy systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across network, application, and data layers.
• Experience supporting release management, environment promotion, and post‑deployment validation.
• Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments.
Experience
• Must be an Australian Citizen.
• 5+ years of developer experience, including hands‑on Boomi development.
• Strong background in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript) and web fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with modern delivery methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
• Proven ability to analyse, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Demonstrated ability to produce optimised, reusable, and maintainable integration solutions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have:
– Boomi Professional Developer Certification
– Experience with additional development or scripting languages
– Strong understanding of API‑led architecture and integration best practices
