Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Planning and coordination of obsolescence management relevant activities.
- Check the export control relevance or any specific relevant restriction.
- Review and documentation of affected assemblies/component due to change scope.
- Coordination, communicate with the relevant stakeholders regarding the qualification.
- Identifying if similar changes are already in progress into the system.
- Manage the change documentation in relevant tools like OM tool, Windchill and SAP.
- Accountable for Collecting and pre evaluate of OM relevant Data.
- Documentation of the results of the safeguarding measures and preparation of releases, as well as support in defining corrective measures.
- Preparation of technical reports for the documentation of series releases.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma / bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- At least 03-05 yrs. working experience in component qualification process domain.
- Knowledge of SAP, Creo, Windchill, MS Office (Word/Excel).
- Good knowledge of engine components and functions.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering/Manufacturing processes like casting, forging, machining, die and pattern, Sheet metal, piping etc.
- Experience in qualification process and Knowledge in testing for diesel engine components.
- Knowledge of field issues with respect to obsolescence management.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
