Dev Ops Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate DevOps Manager to lead our growing DevOps team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our efforts to automate and streamline our software development lifecycle, bridging the gap between development and operations to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery. You will be responsible for leading a talented team of engineers, driving our CI/CD strategy, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Mentorship

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

CI/CD Strategy & Execution

Design, implement, and manage a robust CI/CD pipeline, with a focus on automation, speed, and quality. Drive the adoption of CI/CD best practices across the organization.

Infrastructure & Cloud Management

Oversee the management, cost-efficiency, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure, with a particular focus on Azure Kubernetes (AKS).

Observability & Performance

Implement and manage a comprehensive monitoring and observability strategy using tools like Dynatrace to ensure the performance and reliability of our applications. Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning.

Release Management

Own and improve the release management process, ensuring safe and efficient deployments, updates, and patches.

Security & Compliance

Ensure compliance and security best practices (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR) are integrated throughout the development and deployment lifecycle. Conduct regular system audits.

Collaboration & Communication

Partner with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to align on technical strategy, infrastructure design, and priorities.

Automation & Process Improvement

Automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce errors. Facilitate incident response and root cause analysis.

Technology & Tooling

Lead the evaluation and implementation of new tools and technologies to improve our DevOps capabilities, staying updated with the latest industry trends.

Qualifications:

Experience

5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management position.

Technical Skills

  • Deep expertise in CI/CD principles and tools, preferably with hands-on experience with Harness and GitHub Actions.

  • Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes and Docker.

  • Proven experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep.

  • Expertise with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, or Prometheus.

  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).

  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices.

Cloud Platform

In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, with a strong preference for Microsoft Azure.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for continuous improvement and a strategic mindset.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

General Compensation Disclosure

The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.   At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated. A reasonable estimate of the current range is listed below.  

Pay Range:

$134,400.00-$206,100.00 Annual
