As Product Manager, you will be the connecting point between your technology customers, business and leadership, utilizing your unique blend of business and technical savvy, to make the company vision a reality.

As a member of Enterprise Architecture, you will take an active role in amplifying the voice of end-users and the product line strategy to your development team.

You will become the resident expert in your product suite. You will work with product leadership to ensure your product roadmaps do not stray from the Marsh McLennan and MMC Tech strategy. You will serve as the point person for your features and enhancements and will help ensure positive outcomes for the evolution of the Dev CoE and its product suite.

We will count on you to:

  • Know your product and customer details and contribute a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the product, the customer and the company mission

  • Effectively communicate product information to all audiences as necessary (team, stakeholders, etc.)

  • Lead your teams to deliver rapid, successful, innovative solutions solving problems for leadership as well as all other colleagues across the enterprise.

  • Negotiate and make responsible decisions on scope, sequencing, and timing.

  • Provide Product Owners with a clear definition of product functionality.

  • Articulate goals for each Iteration that are tied to making progress against the objectives to maximize delivery of business value with strict attention to the sequence of work.

  • Research and understand how users want to receive the product and how they want to use the product.

  • Ensure high quality software releases to our customers.

  • Articulate and advocate problems for which solutions should be built

  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency to identify and mitigate Risks and Dependencies

  • Manage and/or coach one or more Product Owners

What you need to have: 

  • 5+ years working in a Product Management, Product Leader or Product Ownership in a software delivery capacity.

  • 2+  years working in lean-agile software development environment

  • A proven track record of product management and delivery of world-class consumer facing software or services

  • The ability to define and document product requirements into small, well-articulated, and valuable deliverables

  • Effective written or face-to-face communicator

  • Confidence to challenge the norm, make decisions and collaborate with leaders across the enterprise

  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with key stakeholders, peers, and senior leadership
