We have an opening for a designer working across our Men’s Clothing Division but specializing in Men’s Casual Wovens product which covers Shirts, Denims and Casual Bottoms. You will be responsible for researching and developing style led looks that are underpinned by amazing value. We want to know what you think; as a Designer you will contribute to the Menswear design strategy with the customer at the heart of everything you do.

Your Role:

  • Research of new Trends on a seasonal and rolling basis for your Ranges and will support the Menswear Design team with the wider direction for the department.

  • The presentation of Trend internally and to our supply partners

  • Build relationships with your buyers to deliver the trend and category direction in your departments from briefing to range build and product sign off.

  • Travel to develop product but also for Comparative and Directional Research.

  • Network internally to promote your product categories

  • Build strong supplier relationships to deliver right product at right time

  • Critical Path management of your departments.

Let's find out about you?

  • Strong experience within either a retail or manufacturing fashion design environment. This is not an entry level role we are looking for some experience and a person who could be looking to broaden and develop their skill set  

  • Strong track record of researching and producing innovative designs in line with customer needs.

  • Confidence working with suppliers to ensure we are leveraging all design capability to drive product development

  • A broad knowledge of CAD software (including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) and the desire to drive a more digital way of working.

  • The ability to combine several research avenues – Trend forecasting books, blogs, social media to deliver innovative and commercial designs

  • Be able to work independently with support from the Design Manager to deliver to critical path deadlines.

  • A strong understanding of producing tech packs and how to brief through to suppliers and factory’s
