Your Role  

We are seeking a creative, self‑driven, and team‑focused Interior Designer to join our growing practice in Raleigh. In this role, you’ll help deliver thoughtful, high‑quality design solutions for a diverse range of interior environments. You will collaborate closely with design leaders, project teams, and external partners to bring ideas to life—ensuring each project is both innovative and technically sound.

What You Will Do

  • Contribute to the development of interior design concepts and space planning solutions
  • Support preparation of construction documents with a focus on accuracy and clarity
  • Participate in project coordination with consultants, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies
  • Assist with material selection, finishes, pricing options, and product research
  • Provide design support through all phases of project development—from schematic design through construction administration
  • Help maintain project schedules, deliverables, and documentation with efficiency and attention to detail
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and consistent design quality.

Your Qualifications

You are

  • creative with fresh and innovative design ideas
  • self-motivated
  • team focused with excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills
  • able to manage time, tasks, and responsibilities proactively
  • proficient with Revit
  • preferably also proficient with Illustrator, Photoshop, BlueBeam and SketchUp

You have

  • the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited program
  • 1-3 years of professional design experience, ideally inclusive of design experience for large-scale commercial projects
  • experience within a commercial design firm participating in all phases from schematic through construction administration
  • basic understanding of construction drawings, codes, and building processes
  • strong rendering skills preferably
  • demonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices
